Hunde fallen nicht vom Himmel

More than anything else, Sophia wants a dog for her sixth birthday. Little does she know that her wish will be granted sooner than planned when she encounters the dog Bank and his Swiss owner Basilio. While saving a stray worm, the little girl is sole witness to a car accident. She frees the dog from the car and takes it home to get help for the unconscious driver. However, Sophia’s cries for help fall on deaf ears in the adult world resulting in a series of misunderstandings. The situation provides the perfect opportunity to possess a much longed for dog, but can she abandon the injured driver to his fate and live with a lie?
