„Irit Batsry constructs an alternate video world, a parallel digital universe, expressed in eloquent and absorbing streams of stark layered imagery. The artist narrates in philosophical poetic verse, a creation story of an alien world. This allows her to be free of any worldly rules in a typically constructed video work, and invent her own visionary style. This piece scans through evocative black a white images, landscapes, textures, visions of death or decay, memory, things ending or being forgotten. Figures appear as amorphous, featureless shapes, like patches of body heat. An ambient soundtrack lends to her continuously changing mental spaces, constructed from a visual language entirely her own.“ (lg, Neuer Berliner Kunstverein)
