The seminar also takes place at Studio A.
In summer 2024 the Dramarama 2! Live/Art seminar continues collectively reading and interrogating dramatic texts together as a way of reflecting on contemporary and historical theatrical traditions. Over the course of the semester we will also explore directorial and performative exercises using scenes and excerpts to illustrate interpretative approaches and looking at the role of live camera and the influence of pop culture in performative settings.
In Dramarama 2! we will be looking at significant texts and excerpts from plays written by
Alan Bennett, Anton Chekhov, Staceyann Chin, Caryl Churchill, Heiner Müller, Lynn Nottage, Claudia Rankine.
