Reading Deleuze together

The focus of this academic block is on Deleuze’s thought, specifically on his ideas about painting and cinema. Throughout the course of the seminar, we will study Deleuze’s seminars, Painting and the Question of Concepts and Cinema and Thought, which critically analyse the functions of the artwork, both in the context of the art world and within wider philosophical and social contexts. The class aims to develop students' analytical skills, strengthen their critical capacities and introduce aesthetic strategies optimal for expressing the desired artistic content, not least, pertinent for both art/cinema and culture at large.
