The KHM's central workshop is located at Filzengraben 8-10. It offers conceptual and technical support for student projects and installations in all areas of craftsmanship. In collaboration with the students, the following are created here, among other things:

• Objects, sculptures, installations, mechanical devices
• Props and backdrops
• Exhibitions and stage sets

The workshop offers a total of four workstations that can be used simultaneously. To guarantee a workstation, we ask all students to register in advance at werkstatt@khm.de.

Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. / 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (also during semester breaks)

In addition to the workshop equipment, the workshop offers a selection of hand-held machines and hand tools for hire.

The Technology Department of the KHM is diverse and complex.
