Purposes and legal basis of processing
The names, contact data, and age data are collected and used to implement the Project. The processing of the personal data is legally based on Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR. KHM’s legitimate interest lies in the manufacturing, publication, and public use of the Project, as part of publicity work, participation in competition, and noncommercial and commercial use in all media, among other things.
Recipients of personal data
KHM transmits personal data to third parties if this is necessary to fulfill the aforementioned purposes (such as bookkeeping, tax and legal consultation, social security agencies, tax authorities, broadcasters, rentals, distributors, coproducers, service providers, insurance companies, financing partners, funding institutions, supervisory authorities, and other authorities). If KHM cooperates with technical or other service providers (“processors”), they will act on KHM’s instructions and are contractually obligated to comply with the applicable data protection requirements.
Data transfer to countries outside the EU or EEA
Data will not be transmitted into countries outside the EU or the EEA unless this is necessary to fulfill the aforementioned purposes or required by law. They will be transmitted into third countries only if this is necessary to attain the contract purpose or the legitimate interest.
Duration of storage of personal data
KHM will erase personal data if the aforementioned purposes cease to apply, unless those data are needed to make the Project permanently usable or erasing them would breach legal obligations.
Rights of the data subjects
Under the GDPR, data subjects have the right to: disclosure of information about whether and which data are being processed (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification or completion of those data (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), objection to the data processing (Art. 21 GDPR), and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
They also have the right to lodge a complaint with the
