Rosangela de Araujo

Rosangela de Araujo is a multimedia artist, writer and poet. Art is for her a primal, ethereal and omnipresent information field; awareness, contemplation and reflection her tools to decode it into art works. Nature, chance and the human soul are her main sources of inspiration. She holds a BA in Visual Communication from Escola de Belas Artes (UFRJ), Rio de Janeiro, and an MFA in Experimental Animation from CalArts, Los Angeles. She is a conference lecturer and peer review published author and teaches experimental animation, focusing on philosophy and aesthetics, and aiming at authentic artistic expression.
