As a contribution to the 35th anniversary of the KHM, the soundings series invites graduates from the time of professors Anthony Moore and Peter Kiefer and from the period since 2015 to participate in the winter semester 25/26. Sound was part of the KHM's curriculum from very early on. So it is not surprising that a whole series of renowned artists have emerged from it in the meantime.
Multilogue is Jiyun Park, Sybella Perry, Hye Young Sin and Franziska Windisch, an artist collective based in Berlin and Brussels. Working together in conversation, their pragmatic and solidaric approach allows each artist to devise performances for the other members to realize, resulting in a series of distinct yet interconnected works. For soundings, they will present Garden in Movement; a performance programme, exploring the garden as an intervening space between private and public. A site that holds both intimate stories and centuries-old legacies, where plants grow and decay, where people gather and part ways, an open space for the imagination, a garden in motion.
The soundings series is conceived and curated by the teachers of the artistic focus area Sound. These are Prof. Hans W. Koch, Prof. Tina Tonagel, and Dr. Tobias Hartmann.
