Heidrun Hertell

Heidrun Hertell has been an Assistant to the Rectorate since 2016. She provides support to the Academy’s management and performs duties directly on behalf of the rector. She is involved in major projects, academic events and crossfunctional tasks and ensures communication between Rectorate, teaching staff, administration and students.
Prior to that she was an assistant to the Academy’s Department of Art and Media Studies and coordinator of the doctoral programme.

After her studies, she initially worked as a translator, followed by an employment at Carl Duisberg Centren/ Cologne where she organized trainings for executive staff from companies abroad.

She has a Diploma degree in Translation (German, English, French) from the Institute of Translation and Multilingual Communication (ITMK) at TH Köln - University of Applied Sciences Cologne.
