Heidrun Hertell

Heidrun Hertell is an assistant to the rector’s office at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. She provides support to the members of the university management and personally assists the rector. She is involved in major projects, academic events and cross-functional tasks, and ensures constant communication between the rector's office, staff units, administration, teaching staff, and students.

Prior to that she was an assistant to the Academy’s Department of Art and Media Studies and a coordinator of the doctoral program.

After completing her studies at the Technical University of Cologne (TH Köln - University of Applied Sciences Cologne) with a degree in translation for English and French, she first worked as a translator and later moved to Carl Duisberg Centren Cologne, where she conducted training programs for foreign specialists and executives.
