4 Generationen, 7 Hochzeitskleider und Ich

7 off-white aerial silks (used for acrobatics originally) are hung in triangular order in reminiscence of a family tree. 3 of the silks have the tops of my mothers and two grandmothers wedding dresses sewn to their ends. Hence these 'dresses' can be worn and brought to life in a performance through which a relation to the past of one's family is created, where there'd usually be photos, recordings, memories. The performance derives from stories, memories and associations and put into a story line in which the performer makes knots, interloops and climbs the fabric, pulls it in different directions and builds new connections.
