LIVE celebration

LIVE celebration consists of a recorded (streaming) one-person performance which deals with the Japanese traditional wedding ceremony and looks at it is gender roles. In Japan people traditionally celebrate wedding with both families of a bride and a groom in Shrine where is enshrined the Shinto god, thus, the FaceTime camera would be witness of an oath for the future happiness, such as both families and the god. Some special processes, listening old music, wearing traditional (expensive) white/black Kimono, drinking alcohol, gazing bride and groom and dancers, and polite bows will bring holy atmosphere and trance feeling to participant. I would like to expose how modern illogical rules have been cleverly justified by tradition and HOLINESS for social discipline.
