this S. does not exist

‘this S. does not exist’ is a work about a personal fear. An attempt to capture, explore and translate it in images, film, sound and language. Set against the backdrop of the New Mexico desert, where my fear of snakes is interwoven with a familial relationship, the work portrays my personal confrontation with the supposed co-presence. In doing so, it raises fundamental questions about the media and artistic possibilities of translating human emotions.
