Walls & Lines

A sound installation gathers recordings and maps of villages that have an unrecognized status, that have been demolished, evacuated or heading towards these measures in the near future. The silent vibrations that were occurring in the walls of those places were recorded with contact microphones - and afterwards played back through wooden plates, hanging from the ceiling. Referring to a score, each playback situation faces a map, revealing the absence/presence of the place where the recording was made.
