Echoraum sechs minus

""Echoraum sechs minus"" is a scent installation / scent intervention, conceived for the same-titled group exhibition at the Bundeskunsthalle in Bonn. The intention is to create awareness towards our olfactory perceptions. By introducing a foreign scent into the exhibition, a new conjunction between space, exhibited works and memory is induced. The scent installation exists on two levels: firstly, the scent that was released into the exhibition space itself and secondly, the scent samples (see image), that were handed out and transported the scent in form of small scent cards beyond the exhibition space.
