""Elephant"" is about things, which are not to be seen, but to be felt. The film focuses on perception. There is very limited visual information from three diverse sceneries. After a while, actions are being revealed, through increasingly exposed flashes of light. Once the plot is unveiled, its violent character makes it hard to be viewed. ""Elephant"" conveys the inexpressible nature of an action in a situation, where there is a deficit of information. Yet the film also deals with an unbearable truth behind the actions.
