Ein Infusionsständer bewahrt seinen Patienten mit einer Chemotherapie vor dem Tod. Doch die Therapie erweist sich als schmerzhaft und anstrengend. Der verzweifelte Patient verliert den Mut und der Tod erscheint plötzlich als sinnvolle Option. Wäre da nicht der pflichtbewsste Infusionsständer, der den Sterbenden mit einer Hingabe pflegt, die an Besessenheit grenzt. Ob es dem Patienten nun passt oder nicht, die Therapie endet erst mit dem letzten Tropfen.
