The hands of Isabel are always in movement. They are a symbol for the hard life she has lived. We accompany her in her daily works. The hours of the day depend on if the waterpipe down the hill is running or not. The film is about the absence and the necessity of water in relation to the body of a woman who has spent all her life in the Sierra Maestra in Cuba.
