Ghosts

Two strangers sit next to each other. In the back of their heads the streets of the city are passing by. Scenes of different time present people passing by. Getting on trains and busses. There’re no words to be spoken in between both strangers. They stare quietly. Uncomfortably, they look up and down and close their eyes. A connection forms and will be abruptly interrupted. One stranger disappears in to the shadows of a train station. From Potsdamer Platz to Nürnberger Straße, their eyes meet for a moment. Ghosts was part of Seminar project filmed in April 2021. Based on the emotions of loneliness and isolation in the atmosphere of an urban environment, two people meet on screen and appear eerie – like Ghosts.
