An-Beten

In the 8mm film work mixed with digital footage cinematic screens overlap, fragmentarily tracing the performative movements of actors. They act alone in field and forest environments, and yet the repetition and cross-fading reveal a rhythm and a communal togetherness reminiscent of ritualistic and religious practices, which is a necessary practice for the artist in a world marked by ecological and geopolitical crises.
