OFF THE PATH

“Off the Path” is a 3D animation and spatial installation inspired by the classical medical text Zhou Hou Bei Ji Fang. The work follows three animal-like figures—a fish, a pig, and a chicken—who use an ancient recipe to enter a direct dialogue with life itself. In their pursuit of healing, they gradually drift off course and move further away from the outcome they hoped for. By combining digital animation with a large textile floor piece, the project creates an immersive environment that explores the body, transformation, and symbolic forms of medicine.
