The language and instrumentation of ""Light Dance"" (laser, holography, optical costumes and sub-spaces) have blossomed into 3D space-defining light phenomena reportedly more real than virtual reality. ""Light Dance"" is a transposition of the dance from matter to light, its locus at the body, its reach as far as the confines of the room. The choreographed synthesis of body movement, architecture and light creates a realm of silence, of beginnings, boundlessness, pure possibilities and zero, and a dramaturgy of space: point, line, plane, and volume in transformation within the defining limits of pure light, darkness, colour and the human shape.
