“Super Surveillant Spectacle” is an environment where the visitors are able to participate with numerous installations. These installations have in common that they make use of automated surveillance cameras, which are hooked up to the internet, in order to provide public broadcasting. Videoclips are posted at Youtube.com, snapshots at Flickr.com. The proposed promise of “SSS” is to gather worldwide attention on everyone interacting with the the SSS-System. I am emphasising the search for attention embodied in everyone in a time of individualism where potential rules over skills. There is a documentation of this project available on DVD (49 min.) and Audio-CD (78 min.).
