While on vacation, Nestor (21) is hitchhiking to Spain to get to know the country and its people. It is his first major journey. On his way he learns that you pay considerably less for a donkey in the south of Spain than in the north. On a small budget himself, he is fascinated by the idea of buying a donkey to use it to travel comfortably and adventurously through Spain, only to sell it up north with a profit, thereby re-financing the whole trip. But donkeys are not regarded as stubborn for nothing. And there are more obstacles to come... A small and charming story dealing with themes like friendship, growing-up and being a stranger.
