The ancient and solitary inventor Albert is the guardian of a secret: in his crammed apartment, he hides a magic chamber full of old tower clocks and complex mechanisms that drive a small mechanical universe. He takes care of this world he created, but when he suddenly falls in love with his widow neighbor, Mrs. Winter, his daily routine is turned upside down. Will his clumsy attempts to conquer the distant old lady put his small world in danger?
