In “Feierabend” we are investigating the haunting nature of sound and any sort of oscillation that left their fingerprints on our prenatal and postnatal perception of the “unseen”.Traveling with myths and aural history, their lack of credibility have a huge effect on our definition of “uncanny” today. It is how we translate our memories and how we resonate with the perceivers. The memory that we translate is the experience we had with the natural phenomenon “earthquake”; both physically and emotionally. “Earthquake” is a force that humans cannot escape from and where the artificial systems of control become insufficient. The fear of the unseen and the immensity of the scale of earth’s forces translate themselves into an entity that is trapped in its own bitter insufficiency while working after the official working hours, the so called “Feierabend”. Imprudent and slightly weary; the protagonist loses the sense of orientation and purpose. Time and space start to warp; the doors opening and closing trigger an unstoppable feedback and the protagonist keeps on searching for the flighty source of sound.
