“We Should Talk” is a glimpse into the universe of DJ Fischer, on an afternoon in Cologne. He plays the tourist at the cathedral, talks about the Führerbunker, meets his sister for dinner. He talks, sometimes a long monologue, sometimes with someone. Fischer’s delusion mirrors collective memory. 2025: Germany in its twenties.
