“Sternstunden” tells the story of the unnoticed and marginal figures in the glamorous world of film, drawing attention to the actors who otherwise remain in the background. 85-year-old Johanna Penski and her colleagues take us on a journey through German film history from the perspective of the extra, sharing with us the appeal that film has to so many people across all ages and social backgrounds.
