A Japanese prisoner in Bangkok reports online of his daily life in jail in a strange and humorous way. His sentence was reduced by the King of Thailand in 2009, leading to his release in 2011, shortly before the huge tsunami that devastated his homeland. The film documents his letters, his release and his return to Japan.
