Decoloniality in Practice II

Stefano Harney & Guest: Max Jorge Hinderer Cruz We will continue our investigations into the thought and practice of decolonization, including but not limited to contemporary calls to decolonize institutions, curricula, and public space and public history. The seminar will revolve around invited speakers who will lead us in conversation around these issues. Week by week we will continue to search for a praxis, a coming together of theory and practice. Further explorations will be made of the eras of decolonization, the anti-colonial movements, and the emergence of new theoretical trajectories such as decolonial theory. Where possible we will also investigate spaces in Cologne itself, and the region more generally.
