Seminar description

This Seminar will express the relation between what we call the French Theories, with Lyotard, Guattari, Deleuze, Foucault, which question the legitimacy of discourse, the mechanism of subjectivation, the relation and apparatus of knowledge, within and beyond institutions, and at the same period (80-90ties) at opposite of the planet, in Autopia LA, the cyberpunk, which could be resumed as a dystopic zeitgeist, with the writers Stephenson, Sterling, Gibson, issued from new wave J.G. Ballard, P.K. Dick, and the 'god father' W. Burroughs. I will speak, we will talk and we will plan some screening (from Philosophical Postures and Monologues records to Cyber-Cypher punk Science-Fiction report, movies, mockumentaries / English Language or Subtitle). We will face, strategies of the languages, in the heritage of bio-political lefties, post Marxist, socially and societally concerned VS Anarchist disenchanted Libertarian.
