Seminar description
A project-based course in which students will go through the different phases of production while making a collaborative animated video-mapping project.
During the semester students will create an animated videomapping as part of #FUTURE_21 industrial culture. This is a cooperative project led by the Regional Associations Rhineland (LVR) and Westphalia-Lippe (LWL) on occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Land of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
This course is both theoretical and practical, and is designed for students who have experience with animation and are interested in experimenting with different multimedia platforms like videomapping.
From working on the production line to industrial robots and artificial intelligence – how will new technologies change our work and our daily lives? What are the challenges for a future-oriented use of resources? And how can creativity and art contribute to creating visions for a new industrial culture?
