Rosa Hannah Ziegler presents a portrait of her father, who lives out his addiction with uncompromising passion: cigarette smoking as a contemplative process in constant repetition. Cut off from the rest of the world, his house and the life he lives in it seem to be subject to different rules of both time and space.
