Embedded Structure

A modular metal construction is embedded in a room in such a way that the existing supporting column is also embedded in the construction. 15 neon lamps, each 120 cm, are positioned into 5 parallel lines on the ceiling. Each line is illuminated consecutively every second, moving from the background to the foreground in loop. The aim of the installation is to restructure the existing space via an interplay between the embedded construction and new lighting system.
