""I pretend that I belong here"" is a transformation between the shells and the moths, between the water wave and the tree trunk. Moreover, it’s about my feeling of ethnic identity, my self-portrait. I grew up in a coastal city sometimes you see eaten mussel shells in a corner of the city. Such a scene appears in my head: the hollowed out shells do not want to be trampled on anymore, the two halves of the shells trying to flutter away so hard, just like wings to bring exhausted souls towards the sea.
