PARADISE 3000

PARADISE 3000 is a hybrid of fictional and documentary character shot on 16mm. The experimental short film of about sixteen minutes describes an intuitive and associative journey of the main protagonist. Individuals of queer nightlife; non-binary performers, present themselves in epic landscapes. They represent figures such as mother nature, the biblical Adam, angels and seducers. PARADISE 3000 is the place where every day life can be forgotten. It is the club that you want to be gained access to. The gate to a better world. Eventually... Throughout the plot I show photography and videos that were taken during the research process for the film. They show moments and figures of queer nightlife in New York, LA, London, Jerusalem and Berlin. Such impressions function as thoughts, visions and a desireful urge for liberation. The main protagonist is inspired by the biblical figure of Eve.
