This video artwork is intended primarily to be both watched and heard by plants. It explores the top- ics of plant communication and subaltern [ative] voices. In this work we artistically develop scientific findings in both audio and video perception of plants, audio generation of microtonal Georgian or Svan tuning, and video generation responsive to music, based on a set of neural networks. Flowers respond to pollinator sound within minutes by in- creasing nectar sugar concentration. Honey bees are the main actors and pollinators. ‘Bee’ stimulus — playback of the recordings of a single hovering honeybee with a peak frequency of 200-500 Hz. This is the audio range that we are work with.
