„Transposed Bodies“ is the story of two inseparable friends, Jan and Jon, who are jealous of each other’s physical and mental capacities. They both fall in love with Marie and Marie falls in love with them. Both lose their heads in an accident and undergo a serious medical experiment. „Transposed Bodies“ is based on the Indian legend „Bhavishya Purana“ and the story „Transposed Heads“ („Die vertauschten Köpfe“) by Thomas Mann. The love story deals with the current debate on genetics, neurobiochemical processes and human identity.
