Die Kinder vom Friedrichshof

The commune of Viennese Actionist Otto Mühl was supposed to give birth to and raise completely new and healthy people, “unspoilt by the nuclear family.” It started as a free community in the 70s, but the social experiment degenerated into a totalitarian system of rule and ended dramatically 20 years later. The film looks back at the commune from the perspective of the children and asks the question: What has become of these utopian, ""new people""?
