Drawing a line marks a distinction and thus defines a border. The border itself however can only be experienced when it is trespassed, it always contains its transgression, its suspension or its displacement. Passing a border as a mental as well as a physical experience is a movement which requires the transformation from an existing state to a modified and new state.The work is an attempt to observe and examine the process of transgressions related to self imposed limits as well as obstacles lying in the way. The expression of body experience is referring to the work of Xavier le Roy in his piece ""self-unfinished"". Transforming the body in two similar albeit not identical parts enables the self-experience to move on both sides of the border at the same time.
