Bei ""Pattern"" handelt es sich um eine grafische Notation, welche für fünf Instrumentalisten und Live-Elektronik geschrieben wurde. Durch minimale Veränderung eines repetitiven Themas, mikrotonale Klangabstände und die Wahl der Instrumentierung entstehen verschiedene Interferenzmuster, welche sich über den Verlauf des Stücks zunehmend verdichten und schlussendlich in einer Klangfläche münden.
