""Yellow"" shows a couple with Downs Syndrome who flee to the Tunisian desert in order to find a place where they are not forbidden to marry. The ableist structures of a society metaphorically undergo a transformation by means of the figure of the cab driver: the cab driver, who has questioned the independence of the two protagonists, ends up marrying them himself in the name of the natural forces and phenomena of the Sahara.
