Moving Mountains depicts a surrealistic world inhabited by tiny people who traverse a vast waterscape and attempt to move mountainous islands constantly. Inspired by the modern nomadic lifestyle and the accompanying ideological decadence, the film explores the relationship between will and reluctance, and the question of where individual motivation comes from.
