What is it in a name other than an attempt to break a status of being a stranger with someone? But names can tell stories... In northern Namibia every personal name is unique. Every name is a little memory that makes part of an oral tradition. Names are part of a story of one country, history of wars and colonization, believes and customs seen through the eyes of people living there. To ask for a name means to be ready to get to know more than just one story or one person. To tell a name is to reveal a big part of oneself and a small part of heritage.
