Sirene

The camera shows me in front of a microphone, which is connected to a sound system and is therefore ‘online’. My lips touch the microphone again and again, provoking erotic connotations, but the sensual stimulation of the image is in stark contrast to the acoustic element of the video: every time I take the microphone into my mouth, it causes feedback. At first the two elements, sound and image, are alien to one another, but during the cause of the performance an evocative relationship is formed between them and they eventually become unified.
