“A digital video band flatters in the breeze of a ventilator, dancing in a beam of light of a projection, throwing nervous shadows. The information encoded on the tape remains hidden; the material itself, freed from its assigned function as a data store and bearer of meanings, writes its unpredictable and enigmatic messages on the screen. In “Sine” the analogue and digital eras interweave, calligraphy and informal art meet original cinema magic and the psychedelic dream machine in a joint play of shadows. Timeless Expanded Cinema.” (Matthias Müller)
