Lostage

There is often little more than a thought between what one is and what one could be. Jakob is actually a woman, but superstitious villagers are obsessed with the idea that she must be a man in order that the village not suffer great calamity. Living in seclusion on a simple farm, Jakob has never questioned her own fate - until the day Tom arrives. Even though Tom is branded a thief, she offers him work and shelter. The two of them slowly grow closer, something the village is determined to prevent - at any cost.
